They work and no leaks. There is also a “skeg” that one can use to make it track straight in some weather conditions. The fiberglass lay-up is clean and first class. In excellent condition.This kayak is fast for its’ size and turns easily due to the rocker design. The finish is very good with the usual light scratches on the hull.Overall, this a very attractive kayak with excellent design. The front deck has a low profile (excellent in high winds).The cockpit size is for lighter/petite built paddler – something like 5’7” or less in height and 150 lbs or less in weight. Kayak comes with neoprene SnapDragon spray skirt. You can try the fit in Pinole where I live.
